He may be powerful but he lacks a little compassion as he rarely get compassion in return. He's half alien and half jinn, so he gets a lot of rocks thrown at him as that's what usually happens to freaks of nature. It's one of the reasons why Gazynn isolates himself from others. He never really receives love, and when he does, he doesn't know how to process it and thinks it's a trick

Now Gazynn truly does like Shashi friend wise but she happens to be his rival/enemy's little sister, and because he has pure hatred and rage towards Geppetto, anything that he loves, Gazynn will do everything in his power to either destroy, ruin, corrupt, or make miserable.

Shashi likes Gazynn friend wise as well because she understands his loneliness. Both have little to no friends, and a very dysfunctional family Gazynn never sees either of his parents and intends to keep it that way. Shashi's father is suicidal/homicidal and her mother is rarely around, and Geppetto makes more enemies than friends Though she doesn't know just how badly Gazynn loathes her brother.
